Atwater Beer Pairing Dinner - January 28th, 6:30pm


Join us on January 28th at 6:30 pm for a five-course beer pairing dinner featuring beers from one of our favorite partners and Campus Martius Park sponsors, Atwater Brewery. The Bistro culinary team will work closely with Atwater's brewmaster to perfectly pair all five courses for just $50/person.


First Course - Scotch Egg

Medium boiled egg wrapped in Bregenwurst pork belly sausage and topped with an Imperial Bock mustard drizzle. Paired with Tunnel Ram (Imperial Bock).

Second Course - Fish & Chips (Bistro style)

Deep fried Faroe Island salmon served with malt vinegar and Dirty Blonde tartar sauce. Paired with Dirty Blonde (Belgian Wheat).

Third Course - Creamy Chicken Mushroom Soup

Creamy chicken soup with beer blanched black trumpet mushrooms served in a flaky savory shell. Paired with a to be determined beer.

Fourth Course - German Country Pork Rib

Pork rib served with lingonberry and cider braised red cabbage, topped with a Dopplebock lager jus. Paired with Voo Doo Vator (German Dopplebock).

Fifth Course - Poached Apple Caramel Tartlette

Vanilla Java Porter poached apple caramel tartlette topped with a vanilla bean Chantilly cream sauce. Paired with Vanilla Java Porter (Porter)

To sign up for the dinner, please use OpenTable, In OpenTable, choose the number of people in your party and click find a table. Then, click the button for 6:30 pm. This will take you to the reservation page, which will ask for your credit card. Your credit card will be used to hold your reservation. When you make your reservation, if you want to be seated near certain people that are paying separately, please note that in the special requests field.

ALSO NOTE: Due to the special nature of this event, cancellations must be made by 1/22/2015. However, you are welcome to transfer your reservation to another party after that date, simply call us to let us know.
